The boys' soccer team won its regional semifinal match Wednesday 3-0 against the Kalida Wildcats, earning a chance to play Saturday (Nov. 2) in the regional finals. Come out and root our athletes on to victory! (Watch highlights via BCSN)
The boys will play the Bluffton Pirates at 7 p.m. at Defiance High School (located about one hour southwest of Ottawa Hills). The winner advances to the state semifinals. (Admission will be $8.)
The boys are having a phenomenal year, led by senior John Kight (pictured), who recently was named the Toledo Area Athletic Conference Player of the Year.
Joining John on the boys' First-Team All-TAAC soccer team were seniors Scott Davis, Drew Hoffman, and Jack O'Brien, and sophomore Walker Kight. Making Second Team All-TAAC were freshman Emilio Duran, junior Jack Silk, and seniors Iggy Garcia-Mata and Graham Tunis.
