Student project seeks businesses

Posted On: Friday, September 6, 2019

Does your company or organization have something to teach today’s students about the "real" world of business? Then you can partner with Ottawa Hills.

Seniors enrolled in “Professional Networking & Communication,” a spring-semester class that teaches business concepts and communication skills, are matched to partnering organizations in order to meet their self-developed learning objectives. Your organization would be asked to provide a contact person to help the student schedule an orientation visit; host at least six, one-hour visits by the student; and provide confidential feedback about the student and program.

In gratitude, a representative of each organization is invited to an appreciation lunch at the end of the school year.

To learn more about helping a Green Bear, contact Erica Silk, the district’s director of development and alumni relations, at esilk@ohschools.org or 419-214-4838.
