Summer Honors Engineering Camp

Students will explore each area of engineering through hands-on activities.  They will design and build robots in a weeklong team project, solve real-world engineering problems, investigate career options and network with practicing engineers.

Women in Engineering Summer Camp

Students learn how engineers creatively use knowledge and technology to improve the lives of others.  The will conduct experiments, use their creativity to solve practical problems, create remarkable inventions and have the opportunity to network with female professionals in the industry.

Crime Investigation Camp - Criminal Justice/Forensic Science/Digital Forensic Science

Defiance College Campus

A three-day Mock Crime Investigation Camp for 9-11 grades (entering grades 10-12 in Fall) presented by the Criminal Justice/Forensic Science/Digital Forensic Science programs of Defiance College.  This camp will introduce students to crime scene investigations and forensics through an interactive  and hands-on criminal mystery.  Students will learn how to search for and collect physical evidence such as fingerprints, shoe prints, and DNA; collect and analyze digital evidence from computers and cell phones; photograph and document a crime scene; interview suspects; and pull it all together to solve the crime.  This exciting experience will show the young detectives what really happens “behind the scenes” of popular television shows.  

Price $200 ($250 after April 1, $300 after June 1) includes meals, snacks, supplies and overnight lodging.
